I agree to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing and by all other rules that govern this event.
I acknowledge that competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk.
I acknowledge that it is the competitors’ decisions alone to enter the Championship or to start or continue in any race. Competitors’ attention is drawn to RRS Fundamental Rule 4, which states:
“The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone.”
I acknowledge that The Organizing Authority is not responsible for the seaworthiness, the sufficiency or the adequacy of the equipment of a yacht whose entry is accepted.
I agree to waive any claim I may have to sue the race organizers (organizing authority, organizing committee, race committee, protest committee, host club, sponsors, or any other organization or official) involved with this event with respect to personal injury, death or property damage suffered by myself or my crew as a result of our participation in this event and hereby release the race organizers from any liability for such injury or damage.
I confirm that my boat carries event mandatory insurance policies and adequate valid third party liability insurance cover.
