| The event is hosted by ÄSSS Sailing Club in Ängelholm, south-west of Sweden. Our Championship organisation and host municipality of Ängelholm are proud and honored to have you as our guest. We expect tough but fair racing in good conditions with negligable current and no tide, away from commercial shipping and fairways. |

The time and place chosen for the event is well considered as mid August often offers beautiful and stable weather, perfect for J/24 sailing.
On behalf of the Championship organisation we would like to express our gratitude to the municipality of Ängelholm for their support. Envisioning the potential and possibilities of sailing and other water activities, the municipality founded the first Swedish sailing high school in the early 80′s. Their commitment and support has made this event possible. The program during the week contains not only sailing but some fun social events and surprises, held in a typical Swedish fashion. The championship will be managed by the best of professionals who share the passion that unite us all in order to guarantee an enjoyable and exciting event.
